Established in 1992, the Sydney Jewish Museum preserves and presents objects relating to the Holocaust, Judaica, and Australian Jewish history. Its mission is to educate and challenge visitors’ understanding of morality, social justice, democracy, and human rights.
To support the museum’s evolving exhibition needs, iGuzzini’s Palco Framer fittings have been specified throughout the display areas. These highly flexible luminaires are designed to deliver precise, focused light, drawing attention to individual subjects.
In the museum’s loftier spaces, iGuzzini’s View Opti Linear luminaires are employed for uplighting and indirect illumination, offering a high degree of adjustability.
The thoughtful balance of flood lighting and targeted spotlighting enhances the value and impact of the art, artefacts, interactive technologies, and personal testimonies on display. Alongside the institution’s permanent collections, this adaptable lighting approach ensures that regularly changing feature exhibitions are showcased to their full effect.
