MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2024

At iGuzzini’s Brera showroom, Light That Moves Time, an installation curated by Alfonso Femia / AF*Design, explored the idea of the future seen through the lens of the past.

Blending retrofuturism with emotional storytelling, the exhibition unfolded across iGuzzini’s nineteenth-century courtyard and basement, showcasing innovations that connected eras and imagination.

Highlights included Newfo, a projector inspired by iGuzzini’s first 1977 Ufo luminaire, and Filorail, the world’s thinnest track at just 3.6 mm. The journey continued below ground, where re-editions from the Echoes archive, including a preview of the 2024 Cespuglio lamp by Ennio Lucini, reimagined iGuzzini’s heritage for the future.
