Mudgee Arts Precinct a newly opened regional gallery designed by architectural firm by BKA Architecture, serves as the cultural hub for North-Western New South Wales.
The state-of-the-art facility includes gallery space, community gallery spaces, a seminar room, café and the Cultural Workshops. It is also home to Mudgee Region Tourism, and their award-winning information centre. The new facility provides a hub to promote, nurture and facilitate participation in art, creativity and cultural activities.
Catering to various exhibition formats, the lighting design offers flexible layouts enabled by operable display walls and ceiling tracks with adjustable fittings. A stepped ceiling subtly defines different zones within the gallery.
Tecnica Evo trackspots were installed throughout the gallery spaces. Tecnica is compact in form and offers high-efficiency comfortable illumination and excellent colour rendering ensuring the full spectrum of colours is accurately represented.
